6-Year-Old Grade Mare

Sally is a seasoned ranch mare with plenty of experience under her belt. She has been used in a backgrounding yard doctoring calves and in a cow/calf operation tagging calves, penning cows, and prowling pairs. She has also worked at the stockyard punching, sorting, and penning cattle.

Sally will go all day and cover country with ease. She has some buttons, is soft in the bridle, and moves off your leg. She walks, trots, and lopes on both leads with ease.

She is not for a beginner rider. If handled roughly or "snatched on," she can get a little worked up-not in a mean way, just sensitive and can get confused. With a confident rider who uses quiet hands, she is a solid, hardworking partner.
